For the electrically actuated microbeam subjected to a combination of DC and AC voltage loadings, we studied the nonlinear dynamical responses and internal resonance analytically. The flexible boundary condition is considered. The modal interaction due to three-to-one internal resonance between the first and second modes is highlighted. The method of multiple scales is employed to get the modulation equation, which describes the amplitude and phases of the involving modes. Then, the equilibrium solutions of the modulation equation are calculated and their stability is examined. The frequency and force response curves reflecting the primary resonance (the first mode) are presented. We find that the first and second modes in the proposed model are coupled, and hence the energy transfer can occur between the involving modes. Moreover, it is found that the response of the system may encounter Hopf bifurcation for some specific parameters. As for simulation, the Galerkin scheme is applied to verify the analytical results in terms of time history, phase-plane portrait, Fourier spectrum, and Poincare section. The simulation results are in good agreement with the analytical ones.  相似文献

Considering the importance of damage for the structural performance and for decreasing the identification error, this paper proposes an optimal sensor placement method based on a weighted standard deviation norm (WSDN) index. The standard deviation of the identified damage parameters is solved using the series expansion theory and probabilistic method to quantify the effect of a measurement error on damage identification. The damage estimation weight (DEW) index, which can reflect the importance of each element in the structural capabilities, is established based on a performance-damage curve. A significant DEW for a specified element indicates that the element is important for the structure and that its identification error should be small. The WSDN index is obtained from the Hadamard product of the standard deviations (SDs) and DEWs. Thus, the identification error of the entire structure is measured using the weighting coefficient. The optimal sensor placement (OSP) procedure is performed by minimizing the WSDN index. The proposed method can clearly decrease the uncertainties of the identification results for the important elements. Other OSP criteria, including the condition number, information entropy, and standard deviation norm, which aim to decrease the identification error, are discussed in this paper for comparison with the proposed method. Two numerical examples and an experiment, which pertain to the deformation performance, buckling features, and dynamic characteristics, are discussed to verify the advantages of the proposed method.  相似文献

The accumulation of material degradation under contact with aggressive aqueous environments could lead to reduced structural reliability. In terms of hydrated cementitious materials, such interactions often result in the chemo-physical-mechanical (CPM) degradation, which represents a multiphysics process of high non-linearity and complexity. By further considering the inevitable uncertainties associated with both the materials and the serving conditions, solving such a process requires novel probabilistic approaches. This paper presents a stochastic chemo-physical-mechanical (SCPM) degradation analysis on the hydrated cement under acidic environment. The SCPM analysis consists of modelling the stochastic chemophysical degradation by finite element method, and assessing the mechanical deterioration through analytical micromechanics. The proposed modelling framework couples the conventional Monte Carlo Simulation with a novel support vector regression algorithm. The present method is able to not only address the detailed degradation mechanisms, but also ensure low computational costs for an accurate SCPM degradation assessment.  相似文献

为深入研究内爆加载下岩土类材料的破坏机理,提出了一种新的爆炸裂纹检测算法,采用数字图像相关方法测量表面位移场和应变场,建立了裂纹扩展和扩张模型,并通过混凝土内爆试验观测裂纹扩展过程,研究了裂纹长度扩展与宽度扩张规律。结果表明,裂纹长度扩展是应力波和爆生气体共同作用的结果,裂纹最大扩展速度为225.95 m/s,平均速度为122.27 m/s,裂纹总长159.92 mm,长度扩展止于1.75 ms;裂纹的张开由气体主导,最大宽度1.59 mm,作用时间长达4.5 ms;拉应变集中区先于裂纹出现,其形状决定了裂纹的走向和趋势,爆炸加载下断裂过程区长度为骨料粒径的8~9倍。  相似文献

The research progress of a novel traffic solution,a submerged floating tunnel(SFT),is reviewed in terms of a study approach and loading scenario.Among existing publications,the buoyancy-weight ratio(BWR) is usually predefined.However,BWR is a critical structural parameter that tremendously affects the dynamic behaviour of not only the tunnel tube itself but also the cable system.In the context of a SFT prototype(SFTP) project in Qiandao Lake(Zhejiang Province,China),the importance of BWR is illustrated by finite element analysis and subsequently,an optimized BWR is proposed within a reasonable range in the present study.In the numerical model,structural damping is identified to be of importance.Rayleigh damping and the corresponding Rayleigh coefficients are attained through a sensitivity study,which shows that the adopted damping ratios are fairly suitable for SFTP.Lastly,the human sense of security is considered by quantifying the comfort index,which helps further optimize BWR in the SFTP structural parameter design.  相似文献

Automatic methods of photoelasticity have had a significant progress with the development of automatic acquisition and image processing methods. This article concerns RGB photoelasticity, which allows the determination of the photoelastic retardation using, usually, a single acquisition of the isochromatic fringes in white light by a colour camera. In particular, the article presents an overview of the main characteristics of RGB photoelasticity that is influence of the quarter-wave plate error, number of acquisitions, type of light source, determination of low and high fringe orders, methods for searching the retardation, scanning procedures, calibration on a material different from that under test, combined use of the RGB and phase shifting methods. This paper proposes a generalized dynamics model and a leader-follower control architecture for skid-steered tracked vehicles towing polar sleds. The model couples existing formulations in the literature for the powertrain components with the vehicle-terrain interaction to capture the salient features of terrain trafficability and predict the vehicles response. This coupling is essential for making realistic predictions of the vehicles traversing capabilities due to the power-load relationship at the engine output. The objective of the model is to capture adequate fidelity of the powertrain and off-road vehicle dynamics while minimizing the computational cost for model based design of leader-follower control algorithms. The leader-follower control architecture presented proposes maintaining a flexible formation by using a look-ahead technique along with a way point following strategy. Results simulate one leader-follower tractor pair where the leader is forced to take an abrupt turn and experiences large oscillations of its drawbar arm indicating potential payload instability. However, the follower tractor maintains the flexible formation but keeps its payload stable. This highlights the robustness of the proposed approach where the follower vehicle can reject errors in human leader driving.  相似文献
